Newborn Baby Kits headed for Africa

To make our 50th anniversary memorable for all of us, we bought supplies to make 100 newborn kits.  Each of our children and their families came over during the week-end and assembled 10 kits/family.  It didn't take long and was a good activity.
We can't wait to receive pictures back from our golfer friends in Zimbabwe who will distribute the kits and take pictures of the recipients.
Bob and I are both so grateful as we see the influence that our mission to Africa had on our children and grandchildren.  It is ongoing and we expect it will last for several generations.

Jiblets were baptized today

Jeff with Trenton Jefferson, Grandpa Rose with Lexton Robert and Gpa Gordon with Oston Brent.  Those men in the back row confirmed the boys in front of each of them since they bore their name.
Jeff, Natalie, Hannah, Rebecca and Lexton, Oston and Trenton--their baptism day.  We remember the day they were sealed to Jeff and Natalie in the Mt Timpanogas temple at age two years old.   What a difference six years of being in a stable home of love and discipline has made in their lives.  They are fine young men.

LIFE AFTER MISSION

All five of our sons completed the Ironman 70.3 in St. George in May.  Bob and I went down to watch and cheer.  It was exciting but most of all rewarding to watch them help one another to be able to succeed.  Everyone should have such a brother!  Oh wait,  we do.  He is by our side every step of the way through our mortal events!
